By this point, I've plotted all the stories I want to write (most of which are listed here on this page), and I've also figured out how to put all of them into a single shared universe (since, you know, we all have to do that these days). But it all needs some context.
I'm working on what I call The Mythos, a book of stories and legends that are going to form the basis of my overarching, shared universe mythology. These are meant to tie all of the other stories together into a massive multiverse of sorts, but they will also stand alone. There will be many, MANY hidden tidbits of things in my other books, such as Monsters and Masters of the Earth, to provide context as to how all these series can come together, with the culmination being the conclusion of The Mythos at The End after all stories are complete. So, when I have no other extras to add into a book at the end, such as excerpts from the next one in the series or from other books/series, I'll include a piece of The Mythos. This will not be published in any form other than in the various books I'm writing, at least not until the vast majority of the books in my shared universe are complete. So, if you want to know about The Mythos, you have to buy all the books and read them!
The first legend in the series, "Creation and the Sundering", is published in Monsters - Chapters 1-25, with more on the way in other books.

THE ALMIGHTY
HE is unseen, unapproachable, and unchallenged, and HE sits on HIS throne in the heavens over all. HIS throne is made of the purest, whitest stone mingled with HIS everlasting fire, and HIS crown contains every precious material in existence.
The Elysians of Purlieu
The Spirits loyal to the ONE ABOVE reside in the golden city of Elysium, located in the realm of Purlieu. These gods and goddesses reign over their appointed aspects, defining concepts such as love, beauty, and other aspects of nature. The most powerful Spirits are the ones that sit on the Council of the Gods, with the High Tetrad - the four chief Spirits of creation - at the very top, representing the most crucial aspects of reality.
The Demon-Gods of Abruptum
The corrupted gods and goddesses who have abandoned their service to the ONE ABOVE dwell in the black city Abruptum, located in their realm, the Darkscape. From there, they seek to bring never-ending death, chaos, and destruction to creation. With their leader, Nimolite, exiled from the realms, the evil Spirits follow Ardudit, who sits on Nimolite's throne, waiting for the prophesied day of his return.
Angels and Demons
Some of the lower-order Spirits were not created at the beginning by the MAKER. Thus, they are not gods or goddesses, but they still possess divine power. These are angels and demons, and they serve their own unique purposes. Many of them are assigned to a specific realm where they perform their function, sent by the gods and goddesses who choose to employ them. Some have been created by the powers of the gods, and some are the children of gods and goddesses who have wed among each other.
Demigods
Demigods are the product of the mortal and immortal worlds intermingling. They are children of both Flesh and Spirit, and as such they share the natures of the two. They grow from birth as the mortals do and begin to develop their godly powers and gifts as they age. Some demigods are gifted merely with one or two talents; however, some of them have the potential to overpower even the gods or goddesses that sired them.
Titans
The Titans were created by the MAKER to help form the Reaches in the beginning. Since then, they have been among the Reaches, left to live as a part of creation. They are the most powerful of all the created creatures of the flesh, some of them even great enough to easily rival the Spirits in might and intelligence.
Artifacts
Throughout the history of creation, certain artifacts have achieved a level of cosmic significance. They include weapons, enchanted objects, sacred relics, or tools of divine spiritual power. Some are inherently good or evil, and some are simply what they are.
